William Kipling from Bowes

Looking for info on William Kipling from Bowes who built Lazonby bridge in the Eden valley in about 1760.
Did he build many bridges in the area.

I take it that this question is linked to your other message about John Petty? I've just 'Googled' both names and there are records held by Cumbria Records Office which might shed some light on their work.

There's a snippet of info on The National Archives website, but I would suggest an email to them might help unless anyone else can offer other suggestions??

Given the time they were working on the bridge I can't see that ther would be any census data available as I can't really see either of them being alive in 1841.
