Hi there, Living here in WA. Austrialia find it hard to know where to start to look for Phyllis Elliot's divorce inform.

Just in case she divorced prio to 1937, try searching TNA's catalogue (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/catalogue/default.asp)

In the word or phrase field enter the surname
In the year range, restrict this to a period between year of marriage and 1937
In the department or series code enter J77

If you get no possible matches, then your best chance is to get someone who can go to Kew and has some time to spare to search the inde in J78 which is mentioned on your other thread.
