france trip

just got back from france today i was visting my great grandads war grave, what a wired and wonderful experience. firstly there was a book with all names in i open the book and on the first page was my great grandads name how wired!!!!!!!!
then as we found the grave there was this yellow rose growing and my grandad (my great grandads son) loved yellow rose's another wired experience!!!!!

this place was sooo peaceful and very well kept.

i am on such a high as no one else in my family as ever found or even tried to look for my great grandad, i am just hoping that he is looking down on me with pride.

That's brilliant :) It's an amazing experience visiting the grave of someone you've found yourself and looked for for so long. I hope you took photographs.

yes i took loads of photos which i can now add to my family tree, i don't have a phot of my great grandad so this will have to do.
