Can anyone tell me where i can view the 1841, 1851 and 1861 census (besides the FREECEN site - with which I get terribly frustrated with).

I live in Australia, and have a sub to the ancestry site. I have found that it has helped out immensly with the other census (excluding the 1881 which is a different site). I dont have access to the PRO over there and can only view what is on the net.

I am researching MILLER from POOLE, Dorset.

So if anyone can be of assistance to me, it would be greatly appreciated. So far I have traced a relative back to abt 1850 and would find him on the 1841 census as a child or young adult (i think). So far in my research all my ancestors have been born, married and have died in Poole, so at present I am begining to believe that all Miller in Poole might be related some how!!!!

The 1841 and 1861 Censuses for Dorset are available to buy from Archive CD Books ...... the 1841 is also available to buy for individual Registration Districts.

The 1851 Census is available at this site, scroll down the page to find the entry.

These are nowhere near the quality of Archive CD Books' ....... but better than nothing! I purchased the 1851 for Cornwall.
