Vanished G.G.Grandfather

My G.G.Grandfather William Henry Tayler born Falfield in 1861 was Married to Ellen Workman and lived in Charfield Glos.
He had a cycle shop in Charfield and the last of his ten children was born in 1903, in the same year he was left £100 in his Mothers will.
The only other things I now about him is that he went abroad, do not know where, No photo's or anything of his was ever kept as it was taboo to talk about him.
Any ideals how to go about searching for him would be very wecome.

There are several William Taylors and even some William Henry Taylors on the death indexes etc. in Canada who could be canidates for your William Henry...
Do you know his parents first names?
