I am seeking Thomas Henry LUCAS, my great grandfather. According to the censuses of 1861 to 1891 he was born on Llangurig/Montgomeryshire. By 1860 he was with his wife Louisa (COOPER, from IoWight) in Islington. It is possible that oldest son, also Thomas, may have been born in Carmarthen ca 1858. Apart from having a quite common name, Thomas was inconsistent about his age - he could have been born anywhere between 1817 and 1825 (for instance in 1881 census he is '62' and in 1891: '66'). Cannot find marriage or birth of younger Thomas. All of which makes finding Thomas Snr's birth very difficult. Any help much appreciated.
