I'm looking for John Barclay who I think was b. abt 1737. He married Ann Thalon (Thallon) b. abt. 1739 in 1762 & had a least 2 children (Margaret b. 1763 & Thomas b. 1765). I think that both John & Ann were born in Kennoway but not 100% sure. Any info about John's birth or his parents would be much appreciated.

I'm working away at recording every Kennoway BMD in an attempt to link as many as possible into one large family. It is still early days in my project and, like you, have not yet got further back than John Barclay and Ann Thalon. I do have a fair amount of descendants of their son Thomas if it helps.

So sorry for late reply Les, I'm not quite sure where this year has gone to but it's seems to be slipping away fast. I do have quite a bit of info about Thomas but would love to see what you have, maybe compare notes & see if we're both on the right track. I have that Thomas had one older sister born in Feb. 1763 called Margaret & a 'possible' younger sister called Agnes born in 1767 but I'm 100% sure about her. So ANY help would be very much appreciated.
