I have come across these Bashfords in London in the 1600s and I am trying to find their family info to see if they link to mine .

does anyone have any information about these people please !

edw.bashford

both mentioned as paying rent to st dunstans in the west in the year 1638 .

mary bashford living in the parish of st micheal bassishaw in 1695 .

and where is bassishaw ?

william bashford (cooper) living at 3a ironmongers lane in the parish of st martin pomary . in 1666 at the time of the fire of london.
where is ironmongers lane ? nr st lawrence lane and king street .?

St Michael Bassishaw no longer exists, the site is now underneath the Barbican. Ironmonger Lane still exists, see http://www.streetmap.co.uk/

My advice is to press on with conventional family history and eventually you'll come across these people, if they're ancestors.
