Gwendoline Marjorie Grace Hendon

[Jan Hendon]

My father, John Michael Hendon, was born 13th February 1933, St. Georges Hospital, London and died Aug 2001. On his birth certificate the above named is given as his mother but no fathers details.
I have searched the BMD records for my grandmother to no avail. I have been told that she was born in Wales and that she was adopted.
Has anybody any idea where I start please?|help|

I think Astoria is suggesting that you obtain the certificate. It would certainly be my advice.
