Chesley

I have hit a wall trying to find anything about Philip Chesley born somewhere between 1606-1618. I was told the family came from Wales, however I keep getting things about Chesleys from Scotland. either way once I trace the line to Britain it just seems to disapear, can you be of any assittance?
