My father was ALexander wilson lambert Davies .He was born 1901 in Middlesbrough.During the 1st war he lied about his age and went to sea now i have no idea if it was royal navy or merchant .I do know he was torpedoed.Is there any where i can find out please .I have been on archives and another site for marriners but have found nothing .
