I have a Lucy Beckinsale in my family who came to Aust around 1848. Those of us tracing her know for definate she came from Bampton, Oxford. I found a Lucy Bickinsall in our immigration records who came out in 1848 aboard "Cornwall" and I think it is her so can someone tell me why it says she came from Glasgow, Renfrewshire. Would she have been working there before she emigrated?
