I am looking for the husband of Maria HEREFORD (maiden name)- her marriage is on the 1879 March qtr for Burnley but she is one of 3 women on the page and there are only 2 men. I am fairly sure (from my searches) that the men were married to the two other women and not Maria.
I know that the cert would tell me the answer but I am too impatient! I have searched the LDS and Ancestry sites to no avail.
Maria was born in Devon c1858 - HEREFORD can be spelt many different ways e.g. HERREFORE, even HERIPER. She appears to have had 2 illeg children - daughter Harriet Emma b c 1876 in Devon and son James William b c1877 in Burnley. Each child seems to have lived with one or other of their aunts (Maria had 2 sisters that I know of).
One of the sisters was living in HABERGHAM EAVES in 1881, and James was with her then.
If any one has Maria in their tree, I would love to hear from them.
