Looking for my Grt Uncle James Giffen(b) 1865.Jarrow,Durham,Eng. in 1901
Census he was living at 243 Manchester St,Poplar,Lon. and in Sept,1902 he married "Florence Elizabeth Weston",,,,,
Known Children:
Florence Louisa Giffen (b) Sept.1903.Poplar.
James Alexander " (b) Mar. 1905 "
Doris Emily " (b) June.1907 "
Edith Agnes " (b) Sept.1909 "
Parents of 'James Giffen' were "James & Mary m/s Pursell Giffen. Parents of "Florence" unknown. Last known of Grt Uncle James & Florence they were living somewhere in "Newcastle-on-Tyne" after WW2. My father stayed with them while he worked in the 'shipyards' there 1946-8. Grt Uncle James may have died in 1950,not sure, any info greatly appreciated,thanks
