I have Rhoda Baker born 1817 and John Baker born 1805 children of Jane and William Baker . John and Rhoda were both christened at Checkendon but a sister Sarah was christened in Ipsden 1814. John and Jane both died in 1838 so won't be on a census but I was wondering if somebody might be able to look on a census to see if Rhoda and her siblings might still be in Checkendon please.

Hi Lynne,

The only Baker in Checkendon in the 1841 census is a George Baker born c1825.

He is recorded with a Elizabeth Blackall, Joseph Church and Jas Gilder.

There was no one with a name Rhoda or similar in Checkendon in 1841.
