HARDING family - Newport, IOW.

I am researching the family of James George HARDING bn 1852 at Gillingham, Dorset and Mary Ann PITMAN, bn 1857, Wincanton.

They moved to Newport after the 1881 Census and had an extensive family over there.
Living at 11, Green Street, Newport at the time of the 1901 Census.

Is there anyone researching or connected to this family - any information appreciated.

My Great Great Grandmother was Frances Harding b.1839/40 at East Cowes, IOW. She married George Rider in 1860 and went on to have approx eight children. One of her sons, Frederick George Rider b.1869 was my Great Grandfather. Any relation to your Harding?

Sorry, no connection there.
Mine only moved to the IOW between 1881 and 1883 from Milford-on-Sea, Lymington.
