I am looking for descendants of George NIMMO and Mary MITCHELL, originally from Ireland. Mary died in 1870 and George in 1872 in Glasgow. George’s parents were George NIMMO and Mary LORIMER. Mary’s parents were William MITCHELL and Esther MICKLERABBIE (difficult to read). George and Mary had at least 5 children,

George NIMMO b c1822 Colraine, Ireland m1856 Glasgow Mary PAXTON b c1830
Mary Jane NIMMO, b c1828 Ireland. This is my direct ancestor.
Agnes NIMMO b c1834 Ireland. Was found in the 1861 Census in Glasgow.
Hester NIMMO b c1836 Ireland. Was found in the 1861 Census in Glasgow.
Janet NIMMO b c1837 had a son William NIMMO b1877

Mary Jane married Walter HART in 1861 in Hutchesontown, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland. Mary and Walter had at least 5 children,

Martha HART (b1861 d c1903). This is my direct ancestor.
Marion McGregor HART (b1863)
Mary HART (b1865)
Walter McFarlane HART (b1869) m1894 Christina McDONALD (b1866).
George HART in 1871.

All births were recorded in Hutchesontown, Glasgow except George which was in Bridgeton, Glasgow.

Martha married Robert STIRLING in 1885 in Bridgeton, Glasgow. Martha and Robert had 7 children,

Mary Nimmo STIRLING (b1886) m Daniel TAYLOR and had at least 8 children.
Robert Dick STIRLING (b1887 SCT d1980 NZ)
Marion McGregor STIRLING “Minnie” (b1889 d1968) m1916 William James NORMAN in Canada.
Walter Hart STIRLING (b1891 d1893)
Frederick Hope Pattison STIRLING (b1894 d1965). Frederick is my grandfather named after a veteran of the Battle of Waterloo, Frederick Hope PATTISON.
George Stirling (b1897 SCT d1966 CAN) m1928 Glasgow Euphemia McTavish MacCALLUM. Had a son Robert G. STIRLING.
Martha STIRLING (b1899 d1900)
