I've been looking around on A2A for patient record's for Moorhaven hospital,Bittaford,Devon.
I know the hospital was turned into a village in the 1990's,but i believe my uncle may have been committed there for a while in the late 60's or early 70's.Would such record's still be sealed?I've been trying to find him in the hope he's still around,he was the youngest of my mother's sibling's and was born in 1935.
Is there an NHS dept for this,or how about HM customs & exise, would they release pension detail's?(if he was dead).
I'm really after anything to track him down.

Devon records centre have Moorhaven info up to the end of the 20th century,if you get in touch they will release the info once they get permission of the local health authority.
Remember to email them first and they'll tell you what detail's they need from you,
Alan.
