I Know this is probably going to remain unresolved however I am trying to track down any information on Michael Colligan B abt 1780 Ireland and Mary ALLAN B abt 1780 ireland had a son James COLLIGAN B abt 1803 Ireland. James appears in East Kilbride Lanarkshire 1n 1843 and 29th July 1843 marries a Catherine MURPIE or MURPHY. in East Kilbride. on the Scotland Census for 1851 they are both shown as born in Ireland. James died in 1867 and it is his death certificate that provides the names Michael COLLIGAN & Mary ALLAN. I would be grateful for any information or suggestions as to the Irish Connection.
