Samuel Calvert

I am having real problems in tracing Samuel Calvert born in the mid 1750's the IGI say he was born about 1758 in Wakefield All Saints but I do not believe this to be case as I have checked the Parish registers for All Saints from 1750 to 1762 and had no luck in locating him. It has been suggested that there is Dales connection, but I have had no luck there either. Samuel founded a Rope Works in Wrenthorpe, Wakefield before 1787.I have his marriage and Death in Wakefield but I cannot find any reference to his birth/baptism anywhere. Can anyone help me with this?

Have found a Samuel Calvert about 1758,as you said Of All Saints,Wakefield.Was married to a Sarah Calvert,born 1762 same place.
Had three kids:-
1 Samuel,christened 27 March 1784.
2 Thomas Christened 4 Feb 1786
and gives a 3rd child of Samuel again christened 27 Dec 1788.All at the same place.Hope this helps...Colin
