Can anybody out there help,I am looking into my wifes family tree,one part of her ancestors came from Whittlesey,we visited there to look round the church yards only to find all the grave head stones had been moved.All records I know are kept in Cambridge,but living in Norfolk means a lot of travelling.I have a William Kenneley marriage to Mary Clark at St Mary in 1842,but nothing before that,they had three children, two died in Whittlesey the other one went to live in Sheffield.

I also need to know when and where Mary died,because I have another William born abt the same time married to a Ester,was wondering if this could have been the first William on a second marriage.Do you have any ideawhat dates go back to in Whittlesey cemertery.

It looks as if Mary probably died between 1851 & 1861 as William seems to be in the 1861 census of Wisbech as follows:

There is a marriage registration in the December qtr 1868 at Peterborough reg district, vol 3b, page 542 of a William KENNERLEY and a corresponding entry for an Esther BARFORD.

The only death registration I can find for a Mary KENNELEY is in the December qtr 1855 at Bourn reg district, vol 7a, page 179. Son Reuben has a death registration in the December qtr 1858 at Whittlesey reg district vol 3b, page 333 (KENNELLY) and daughter Elizabeth seems to have died in the June qtr 1867 at Whittlesey reg district, vol 3b, page 363 (KENNELLY).

Cambridgeshire Family History Site (http://www.cfhs.org.uk/index.html)has a searchable database of baptisms and deaths 1801-1837, not marriages though.... they list these two people born in Whittlesey, although to different parents:

Assuming that the William born to Robert and Elizabeth is yours, the IGI lists a marriage in Whittlesey of a Robert Kennelly and Elizabeth Wilson, 13 Feb 1810, it is user submitted though.

I have been looking for a christening for William but can't find one, thats not to say their isn't one I just can't find it.

What I think you have got is that William Kennelly married Mary Clark they had 3 children 2 of which died, after Mary died
William then married for a second time to Esther Barford and had 3 more children with her.
