hi all,
im looking for anyone with any info on the following surnames,
Minchin
Metcalf/e
Hallett
Poole
Bowling
Cornell
they would all have come from the london area.
Unfortunatley when it come to the metcalf/e name, im really stuck as it is my grandmothers maiden name but she was given to her family at the age of about 2 or 3, but wasn't offically adopted till she was 15 as far as im aware, my grandmother is now 93 bless her and does not know what her birth surname was (and is too old to start looking), all that I know is that her mother gave her up and immigrated to canada to marry a doctor. And to be honest on that name I havent a clue where to start looking.
Any help would be grately appreciated
