Looking for any information on my ggGrandparents:
Phillip Brickwood born 1807 in Devon
Margaret Blight born 1819 in Cornwall.
They were married Sept.30,1839 in Bedminster. Had 4 children: Samuel(1845), May M.(1847), James H.(1850), and Mary(1854) all born in Bristol or Bedminster.
Have the Marriage Certificate, but can not find them or any record of the children until they show up in Kingston, Ontario, Canada in 1870. They both died there in 1890.
Can any one help with the missing years?

Hi Barbara,
I am researching my Brickwood ancestors who lived in Ugborough in Devon. I have a Philip Brickwood who married Elizabeth Algar in 1788 at Ugborough and they had 6 children with the last being Philip Brickwood ch. 24.8.1806. I am related to his sister Mary ch. 27.9.1795. Would this be likely to be your missing Philip Brickwood.

Cheers

Rob Don

Ps. I live in Australia

Hello Barbara
I’ve just found your message about the BLIGHT family. I don’t know if it is the same family but in my tree I have Nellie Blight born Pennsylvania October 1882. On the US 1900 census she is shown as an orphan. I know she married William Charles Fussell whose father was William Fussell - a French Canadian Soldier.
On the census Nellie is living with James Elisha & Elizabeth Williams both from the UK.
