Wondered if anyone on the forum with access to Hackney parish records could see if they have a record of a marriage between Robert Pettit and Louisa. I know for sure that Louisa is the mother of all his known children, but I do not know her maiden name.
Their first child was born in 1805 and I am therefore guessing the marriage must have been at St Johns Hackney between 1799 and 1804. More likely l think in the two preceding years to the birth of the first child.
If anyone can help, it would save me a trip to Hackney archives or LMA.
