Am I in the right Forum? |help|

I found on the 1891 census a Female whose name & birthdate fit a person I've been searching for,& lost after 1881. She was a visitor (Salvation Army Lieutenant) in Scotland in the very place I've just found her elder brother to have been born,(I think). I won't even mention that her Father was one of many William Martins I've been looking for.(marriage cert. just to hand)

No mention of S.Army in 1881 census.

Apart from searching all marriages for that name, then all 1901 censuses for someone perhaps with S.Army connections, how can I find her again?? She is just listed as b.England 1865 & the only one I found. Not found in1901.

Any suggestions please? I'm grasping at Catherines here!

Look out for the book "My Ancestors were in the Salvation Army" by R Wiggins.

Their Heritage Centre is supposed to undertake some research
