Hello Everyone

I have found a rellie on the 1901 census for Vauxhall that is in a lunatic asylum. On the page it has the family as:

St Peter's Vauxhall - Kennington

Harry Rayment Head M At ? Lunatic Asylum
Annie " Wife M 40 Born West Indies
Mable " Dau 4 London Camberwell
Edith " Dau S 2 London Lambeth
Kathleen " Dau S 5mths " "

RG 13/409
Page 50

Now Harry has been crossed out as he is obviously being listed elswhere. The problem is I cannot make out at which asylum he is at. There is an abbreviation but I don't know what. It looks like maybe BM!

Would anyone be able to take a look and maybe they might be able to decipher it? I would be very grateful. Thank you.

Its not that easy to read- but could it be Bethleham Royal Hospital aka Bedlam? I wondered if the notes on the census were in fact initials of the above hospital. If not I haven't a clue!:D

Full reference: RG13; Piece: 409; Folio: 91; Page: 50.

Possibly Bow Lunatic Asylum. Also known as Grove House.
