My knowledge of London being confined mainly to knowing whether an area is north or south of the Thames (and even that is not 100%), I know that I'm going to have problems when I start searching in London and nearby areas. But as usual my old friend Genuki, has come to the rescue.
The main page for London can be found at
http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/LND/
However I was very interested in this one
http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/LND/fhs.html
which tells you which FHS cover which 'London' areas. There are also links to the Societies, so you can easily check out what publications in general, and what indexes in particular, a Society have issued. Please note that 'outer London' areas that the Societies cover are not included in the London page index but will of course appear on a Society's wbsite.

Thanks Pam I am in the fortunate position of knowing London quite well but I have looking for such a web site for a long time.
