Michael Quinn, Co Tyrone

Can anyone give me any information on Michael Quinn, born c 1847 in Cappagh, Co Tyrone?
He was married to Bridget Hammell, also from Cappagh. They moved at some time to England - Co Durham and had three daughters.
Mary, born 1879 in West Cornforth, Co Durham
Kate, born 1882 in Tudhoe, Co Durham
Ellen, born 1883 in Tudhoe, Co Durham.
Does anyone know about his parents or siblings :confused: Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do be careful with the above site although searching the index is free to look at any records costs 5 euro per time. The search faciliity is not very good and it is easy to spend quite a bit of money on the "wrong" records or to end up paying 5 euro for the civil record and another 5 euro for the church record for the same marriage. Before spending a lot on records that may not turn out to be your family do have a look at what is available for free.

PRONI have quite considerable records for family history see their catalogue at http://www.proni.gov.uk/index/family_history.htm including a significant number of privately deposited archives.

There is a good page at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nirtyr/tyrone-research.htm giving details of what Tyrone records are available for genealogical research.

You also might find it useful to contact the Omagh Family History society at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/omagh/index.html it covers the Cappagh area.
