Just wanted to send you this Warning and to be on the Lookout !
There's absolutely no cause for Alarm.
This is just to prepare you for the Event.
I thought you would want to know about this e-mail virus.
Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee
cannot take care of this one.
It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1960.
Symptoms:
1. Causes you to send the same e-mail twice.
2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail.
3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person.
4. Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you.
5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.
6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished.
7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND."
8. Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "DELETE."
IT IS CALLED THE "C-NILE VIRUS."

Sounds like they may need to take a look at an Assisted Computing Facility ;)

The link is well worth the time to nose around at all the different things - it really is very clever -

Ages old, but I still find it very funny.

That was good. I liked:
"After sending someone an email, you phone to tell that someone that you've sent them an email." I do...

My kids know I am computer literate but have difficulty with the new mobile phones. They have threatened me, that when I get old, they will put me in a rocking chair with the latest phone and watch me go 'do lally'.

I said "As long as I don't have to wear Lisle stocking and slippers with a pom pom bobble on, I'll manage"

But maybe not...

Don't forget - the slippers also have to be tartan! :D

Jan, "tartan slippers with bobbles" you must have visited the same old ladies home as I have, my worst nightmare! :D

Mark, I have to phone in case they don't get the email, email in case they don't pick up the phone message, write 'cos I don't know if they are still there and text to say I have written.

Then they phone and say, "what have you being doing today mum? |doh|

I really like that Mark!

The only one I don't understand is....if your email address finishes with aol.com??? ;)

I don't have a problem with that.

I like the screen saver one...even *I* know that if I didn't touch a key for several minutes, the screensaver would come up!

I have a virus of a simular nature and one that is proving to be imposible to remove. Its the "Caps Lock" virus. Particularly virile when typing a long sentence. This virus must have cost me hours of typing time especialy as I am expert at the one finger of each hand typing method.
Cheers.
Dave.
