not sue if this is the right place , but here goes.

I 3 census returns with a William Baker born "Kingston, Oxon". - there appears to be 3 places with the prefix kingston. Can anyone help me to decide which is the correct one.

Do you know his dad's details and if so, did he survive to appear in any census returns?

Where was his wife born? Is this near to any of the Kingstons

Have you found their record of marriage? Does this give any clues in either the details of groom/bride or in names of witnesses?

Where were children born, any of them born near to any Kingston?

What did your chap do for a living? Was this any occupation that may appear in a directory- and could he also have followed his dad into doing the job?

Of the Kingstons that you have found, were any in different counties in the 19th century? (Substantial boundary changes took place in the 19th century)
