Simla magistrates 1942 to 1946

I am attempting to find a list of magistrates, deputy magistrates and assistant magistrates based in Simla during the years 1942 to 1946.

Does anyone have any directories or other reference books of this period during WW2 that might give such a list. I have fiound directories for earlier period which include such information but not yet for these years.

Thanks for that pointer, Jan. Unfortunately, having trawled through many volumes of IOR/V/12 and IOR/V/13, they were very incomplete during the war. These reports were compiled in London, and I was hoping that a directory compiled in comparatively peaceful India may have been more informative.

On my next visit to the BL, I may have more success.
