I am trying to locate the outbound passenger lists for ships departing from Cherbourg to the US between 1890-1912.

Does anyone have any ideas where I could locate these?

From 1892 to 1924, the records of Ellis Island are very good and cover the ships coming from Cherbourg. You have to register, but the site is free. http://www.ellisisland.org/ .
