Hi folks

My relative John A Overton b:1836 was a corporal in the Horse Guards at St Pancras Barracks in 1861. He died in 1869 and I wondered if there was an easy way to get an info the Regiment might have?

Help appreciated.

I found another relative in the same regiment. Francis C Overton, nephew of John was in the Life Guards at Combermere Barracks, Windsor. I emailed the museum and they said they were closed for renovations and records were in storage, but they would get back to me in June.
