Looking for parents of William Stanley b 1820

William Stanley was born at Windsor Castle in 1820. His father was with the music staff (organist) at St Georges Chapel. I cannot find confirmation of Williams birth or of his parents names. William joined the armin in 1832 (age 12?) and came to Australia in 1837. I dont know how he got to Australia. Any assistance or guidance would be appreciated.

Have you tried contacting the St Georges Chapel Archivist? The address is on their website
http://www.stgeorges-windsor.org/archives/arch_index.asp
You never know, they might have records of ordinary people as well of the famous and of the building.
