Marion,

I have a Northamptonshire Marriage Index CD and from that I have found the following MANNING marriages with a Nobottle connection:

11 February 1710 at Northampton St Giles Eliz. MANNING of Noobottle married Thomas CORY of Kislingbury
3 December 1729 at Northampton St Sepulchre by licence Martha MANNING of Nobottle married Thomas SOUTHAM of Harpole
9 August 1705 at Brington Elizabeth CHAPMAN of Nobottle married John MANNING of Harlestone, yeoman

It might help to keep them on file until you can maybe make a connection.

Hi Janet
Thanks for that information - I will definitely keep it all in my notes.
Could you please tell me if you have marriages for Brington Parish Church, and would you mind looking up the following please.
Ive got down that MARY MANNING married either 25 or 28 Feb 1808 to THOMAS AMOS (my family line)
Also would you mind very much looking for the following marriage please.
THOMAS AMOS and MARY SAMWELL - probably around 1842/3 possibly Bugbrooke or Long Buckby.

I hope you dont mind me being so cheeky and asking for these lookups.
Thanks ever so much
Marian

Hi again Marion,

Happy to help:

28 February 1808 at Brington Thomas AMOS of the parish married Mary MANNING of the parish.

Can't help with the 1842 marriage though as my CD only goes up to 1837. Sorry.

hi Janet
thanks for that - at least now i know for sure. No probs with the 1842 marriage - thanks.
Do you happen to have any baptism records at all please.
If so would you be so kind in looking up the following please.

I have an Elizabeth Amos born abt 1813 Long Buckby - parents are Thomas and Mary - its the only child of theirs that I couldnt find a baptism record for? But I know she survived as she later got married.

thanks for all your help - well appreciated.
