On 8 Aug 1725 at St. Nicholas, Liverpool, Hans CADDELL md. Jane FLETCHER. I've found the baptisms of 4 daughters in the parish. Hans was the son of Richard Caddell, Esq. of Downpatrick, co. Down, IRL. The family were merchants and shippers. I have a sighting of Hans in July 1720 when he travelled to NY on the ship "Speedwell."
If anyone has any information about the Caddells, their mercantile or shipping interests, or about Elizabeth Fletcher, I'd be happy indeed to hear of it.
