Hi folks -- can anyone tell me what a 'wauker' was. It is listed in the midlothian Guild of Burgesses document as the occuptation of my great great grandfather - thanks in advance.

Fuller
One who fulls cloth, a step in cloth-making; one who shrinks and thickens woolen cloth by moistening, heating, and pressing, one who cleans and finishes cloth (a/k/a lecker, walker, waulker)
