If anyone has, or spots, any info on Oswald Sturdy I would be very grateful to hear about it.
Oswald would have been born circa 1705 and married 1730.
Known info:-
Oswald had four children baptised at Nun Monkton, Oswald & Thomas, both baptised 21 July 1736, Susannah 25 June 1739 & Elizabeth 21 November 1743, the baptism entries did not have the mother's name attached.
Neither his baptism nor marriage was found in Nun Monkton.
Oswald was buried in Nun Monkton on 6 March 1742, his occupation was given as a gardener.
A Thomas Sturdy was buried at Nun Monkton on 25 July 1726, he could possibly be Oswald's father, Thomas was also a Gardener.
