can anyone help with information on the DWYER or McJAMES family in Limerick around 1848.
I have a Mary Dwyer convict sentenced to 7 years in Tasmania who was a native of Limerick, states her age around 30 in 1848 so presuming she was born around 1818/1819. Also states she was a widow with one child, don't know what happened to the child. Not even sure if it was her maiden or married name. Have since discovered her mother's name is Bridget, brother John, sister Ellen Margaret ( her husband could have been in the 21st Regmt and the 88th Regmt.)
Thanks karen
