Please could SKS with access to the 1841 census help me with my search for my GG Grandfather William ENNOR, age about 27 and family, wife Elizabeth age about 32 & children Thomas 5 & Elizabeth 3.
I have found his parents Thomas & Mary at Barley Market Street Tavistock with their 3 daughters.
A son William was born in December 1841 in Ponchidown near Kentisbeare (near Cullompton) and was christened in December 1842 in Tavistock Parish Church so I would expect to find them somewhere between Tavistock and Kentisbeare at the time of the 1841 census.
William was a carpenter and I wonder if there was some special building going on in Ponchidown in December 1841 to cause the family to be there at that time.
