I'm trying to find out what a Navy List C1910 has to say about HMS Fire Queen/ Firequeen. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

October 1913
189 - Firequeen
Special Service Vessel
446 tons I.H.P 500 N.D
Portsmouth
That's it. Nowt else
NMM dates the vessel to 1881 and describes her as a Yacht.
I had a quick run through Jane's ships of WW1 but cannot see a mention.
Paul Benyon's site shows this

Thanks Geoffers |bowdown|
That's what I have, but someone had suggested that she was an "accounting base" too, on account of the number of people he had found attached to her. Looks as though she was just very popular!

Possibly popular with Officers as a chat-up line with local debs - "Hello, Let me take you for a trip around the harbour in my yacht".
You have to imagine someone like Sub-Lt Phillips from the Navy Lark saying that - "Left hand down a bit, Chief".
