My great great grandfather Benjamin Beeson was in the Charge of the Light Brigade (11th Hussars).

In addition to the 1904 postcard of the survivors of the Charge which was sold to raise money for impoverished veterans, I also have an official photograph of one of the annual reunions. This must have been in the 1890s (they all have white beards) and I was hoping that someone might know a resource where these photographs are kept so that I can work out which year it is from and also which one was my gt gt grandfather.

Thanks

You may already know of them, but I have found a group called The Crimean War Research Society, might they be able to help? They have a site at www.

The museum of the KRH (http://www.army.mod.uk/the_kings_royal_hussars/museum.htm)(which I understand to be the successor regt after numerous amalgamations) might retain copies and be able to give you a specific date

Thanks Geoffers and Ann, I have contacted both sites and will post any positive results. I assume that there are many people out there with these photographs.
