Who The Devil Was Alice?

I have Richard Weston born around 1665 married to Mary Campion born 1669, they were married in Steventon Berkshire 23rd February 1689.

Mary's mother was named Alice! Who the devil was Alice?

Any ideas?

Hi,

Do you know where Richard was born and his fathers name?
I have Steventon PRs and have found the marriage on there
but no birth for Richard. If you have his fathers name i can look to
see if i can find marriage which will give mothers maiden name.

I have this on the Oxford Forum but have drawn a blank. Richard weston married Mary Lovely married in Sutton Courtenay but Richard's mother and father are the furthest back I can get on this line.

Richard Weston (Snr) and Mary Campion of Steventon are the parents- Steventon is just one mile from Sutton Courtenay.

That's it. Anything else would be welcome.
