Hugh ROAN was born c 1780 in Mullachbrack, Armagh, Northern Ireland.
He enlisted on 27 April 1801 at Dundalk, Louthe, Ireland with the 6th Dragoon Guards. On 3 May 1819 he was discharged at Birmingham Barracks, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.
He was a weaver by trade.
Died 18 Jun 1862 in Edinburgh, Midlothian ,Scotland.
He married Agnes DALZIEL c 1809 (where unknown) and had at least eight known children.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how I could find out who his parents were.
