WILKES of Portsea/Gosport/Alverstoke......
Have been trying to find Parish Registers of baptisms in this area for a couple of years now without success......... Does anyone out there know where I can get these - have a marriage of William Wilkes and Eliza Fry both from Gosport at Alversoke in 1804 - am sure William is my ancestor but need his baptism to find his parents and where he fits in tree..... have heaps of other Wilkes in that area but can't connect them to each other without these records............. am already grey! need help before I pull it all out.
