I have EH Knowles, LT Knowles and Annie Knowles on a ship going to Sydney 1905. My question is this; what additional information is to be gained by paying Find my Past to look at the transcription?
Thanks Jen

Hi Jen
FMP shows the following:
Dr E H Knowles, Surgeon, Age 31, Scotch (Their term, not mine and I'm glad I didn't post this on Burns' Night :o);
Mrs L T Knowles, Wife, Age 27, Scotch; and
Mrs Annie Knowles, Age 67, Scotch.
They all sailed on the Persic, departed Liverpool 8th June 1905 bound for Sydney via Cape Town, Albany, Adelaide and Melbourne.

Peter

Thank-you Peter. I'll toast to that! None of them were Scottish as it happens but they had been living in Scotland. May I just ask you one more question? I made the assumption that Annie was his mother as the age fitted. As you say they all came from Scotland can you confirm that they were traveling together?
thanks Jen

They appear consecutively in the passenger lists, contract ticket numbers 7783, 7784 and 7785
