I recently recieved the RIC service record for my G grandfather Francis O'Brien born c1863 Donegal. It states his wifes home county to be Kings County (Offaly). He was stationed at Tipperary at the time (1882-1914). Im presuming they married in Offaly. I already knew his wifes name to be Marcella Eago (Igoe?) born c1872. As I dont know the area/district in Offaly where she came from, finding a birth/marriage is proving difficult. They were roman catholic. Any tips??
