I am looking for a a birth record for Thomas McAvelia born about 1858 .
Census records tell me he was born in North Shields.
He was married in South Shields, St Bedes Chapel in 1877 and age given was 18.
His fathers name is Michael
McAvelia has endless variations so is sometimes a bit difficult to pin down,as you all well know.
