I wonder whether anyone can search the 1851/1861/1871 Censuses for the following family, probably around the Prestwich area:-

Mary Wood b c1804 Isle of Man

Hi there,

I checked out the 1861 Census for Church Lane,Prestwich.I could not see your family there.I was a bit shocked to see over 100 people listed in Church Lane.My sister has lived there for the last 35 years and there are nowhere near that number today.One of my lot got married in the PC (which gave the lane its name) in the 1850's.

From the layout of the Census they seem to be located just down the road from Church Lane.I take another look at the 1861 Census to see if I can spot them on Bury New Road.
