I have only been doing this for the last two or three days and with the help of my new found friends, Jeremy, who lives about six miles from the Annis country seat and Helen in New Zealand, just a bit farther away, I can establish the founding Father (Solomon)and Mother(Ann) in Pershore and have a link back to 1745 to Richard Annis of Naunton by Stow On The Wold.
It shows the christening of his son Solomon on the 10th of October 1745.
There is no mention of a wife. I wonder if the birth of their son had dire effects on Mrs Richard Annis. Anyway the name Soloman was being used as a family christian name right up to the 1880s and maybe even later as I still have to branch out from the main line of the tree.
Cheers all.
Dave

You have to look at this in the context of the other entries in the baptism register. Some of the early registers only record the father's name. In the case where they do record the mother, if she was deceased then it might say so.

There may be a burial records.
